I have a long standing interest in expanding our understanding of human CD8+ T cells to improve our immunity against both infectious and non-infectious diseases.
I completed my PhD at the Kirby Institute (Sydney, Australia) studying how our bodies mount CD8+ T cell responses in patients with acute or chronic hepatitis C virus infection and establishing longitudinal tracking of immune dynamics during CAR-T immunotherapy.
Following this, I relocated to the Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm, Sweden) to study COVID-19 vaccine responses in diverse cohorts, uncover signatures of long COVID, and lymph node dynamics during healthy steady state.
The adventure now continues at the Garvan Institute (Sydney, Australia).

Tiger got to hunt,
Bird got to fly;
Man got to sit and wonder, "Why, why, why?"
Tiger got to sleep,
Bird got to land;
Man got to tell himself he understand.
